Presumably cherry, eyes inlaid with brass. Ten frogs dancing and making music on a large, rotten lotus leaf. W.4.2cm. Signed: Koku on an octagonally rounded Haliotis shell plate, cf. LA p. 648, Asakusa school, 1835-1892, added later. Condition A.
