Five-part with separate cord runners. One side and cord runners Roiro, the other very dense Nashiji, as are j? and ge. In very fine Hira- to Takabori with silver and gold some of the 'Seven Flowers of Autumn' such as blooming thunder-plant and asters in front of a partly rotten cobweb of very delicate Haliotis mother-of-pearl stripes in one corner, partly extending to the curved cord runner. Verso and second cord runner entirely covered in very delicate, dense Nashiji, as only decoration a grey-black spider hanging by a very fine thread of Aogai and lacquer, parts of the cobweb of mother-of-pearl stripes in one corner. Inside dense Nashiji. Sign.: Gansh?sai Shunsui. H.9.3cm, W.6.2cm. Supplement: Ivory-Netsuke in the shape of a sitting Tanuki with delicately engraved fur. Signed on oval reserve: Hiroki. Condition A. Supplement: Ojime of ivory, radish and beans with leafs in low relief.
