With a broad, curved ridge and sides and 30 teeth covered in Kinji. The broad frame is densely covered in carefully chosen and placed, almost square, bright green mother-of-pearl flakes, framed by silver ones, which beautifully contrast the green ones inspired by Ming-dynasty Aogai Ch?bei style. On both sides and on the edge two silver and one golden Awabi shell, additionally on verso an open Awabi shell, inlaid in silver, decorated with the view of a Chinese temple. Signature on golden panel: Somada Hisamitsu, cf. WraIndex, listig it on p. 272 and giving the dates 1795-1856. Additionally a silver panel with the name: Toshi & seal.
