Jiaqing and Daoguang marks, late Qing/Republic period
Painted in bright enamels with auspicious emblems and ribbon tied
antique vases across each face and including: eleven deep dishes
reversed with three flower head and leaf sprays painted en suite, the
recessed bases bearing a six-character Jiaqing mark surrounded by
turquoise enamel; eight large service plates with everted rims, the
undersides without decoration, but the recessed bases also bearing
a six-character Jiaqing mark surrounded by turquoise enamel; the
last a charger with three clumps of bamboo painted in iron red to
the underside, the recessed base bearing a six-character Daoguang
mark in iron red surrounded by turquoise enamel. [20]
