The saddles holding porcelain urns with a blue border matching the saddle border. Well carved and polished custom hardwood stands. Good condition; minor restoration to tip of tusk. Height to top of urns 12 inches (30.5 cm.) X width 10 inches (25.5 cm.). Provenance: From a New Jersey Private Collection purchased from Imperial Oriental Art at the Palm Beach International Show in 1998. Note: A similar pair of elephants with dark skin and different saddle was sold at Christie's, London, May 9, 2017, Lot 95, for US$363,614.
