18th C EXTRAORDINARY QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795), Very fine Chinese porcelain celestial vase, delicately potted in a bulbous shaped body, tall neck further to flared rim, raised on concaved foot base. Decorated in dense blue and white underglazed with stylized lotus blossom motif and its scrolling foliage. Repeated Ruyi pattern and leaves petal motif ribbons banded along the foot, shoulder, neck and rim. The shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese GuanYao porcelain Imperial wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the painting, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear, subtle, and distinct. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled fine texture of an orange peel "ju-pi" (chu-p'i). The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. This porcelain have remarkable glaze with hints of pale-celadon irridiscent. Elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand.
Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing (1736-1795)
