Egyptian Bronze Osiris; God of the underworld. Wearing the plumed crown fronted with ureas, wearing the false beard, and hands emerging from tightly-fitted garment and grasping the crook and flail. Late Period, 600-300 B.C. Height 2 1/8 inches (5.5 cm.). Mounted. Provenance: From a Palm Beach, FL. collection; acquired 1976 from Barakat, Jerusalem; to the present owner by descent.
