Late 19th century Meissen Porcelain Figure ''Bacchus with Amoretto'' - underglaze blue crossed swords mark,full round depiction of the youthful Bacchus, the ancient Greek god of wine, vegetation, pleasure and wild frenzy, sitting in a loose posture on a tree stump, holding a wine-filled kylix in both hands, smiling down to the cupid, standing on his left side and reaching greedily for the intoxicating wine bowl, round natural base, polychrome staffage and gilt, underglaze blue swords mark, model no. N 141, pressed no.76, painter no.3, 2 leaf plants on the base partly damaged, 1 ivy leaf in the bacchus' hair slightly chipped, 1 ivy leaf possibly slightly abraded and restored(?), otherwise good condition, H. approx. 26,5 cm
