MURER, Augusto. (1922-1985) Nudo sdraiato bagnato dalle onde del mare.1967 L. 41 cm; I. 22 cm; H. 18. Scultura bronzea con la tecnica della fusione a cera persa. Firmato alla base: “A. Murer 67”. Bronzo sostenuto da base lignea. Nel lotto si aggiungono tre fotografie dell’opera tra cui una manoscritta, datata e firmata dall’autore. Segni di ossidazione, buon esemplare. Augusto Murer è stato uno scultore e pittore italiano.Fu uno dei più significativi scultori italiani della seconda metà del Novecento, con un'ampia produzione artistica legata a temi di impegno civile, ma anche alla ricerca del senso profondo dell'esperienza umana.

Bronze sculpture with the lost wax casting technique. Signed on the base: “A. Murer 67”. Bronze supported by a wooden base. The lot includes three photographs of the statue including one with manuscript note, date and signature of the author. Signs of oxidation, good copy. Augusto Murer was an Italian sculptor and painter.He was one of the most significant Italian sculptors of the second half of the twentieth century, with a large artistic production linked to themes of civil commitment, but also to the search for the profound meaning of human experience.
