SAGRESTANI, Giovanni Camillo. Due studi di eroine della mitologia classica. Disegno. 1660-1731 Foglio di mm. 245x285. Un disegno e un acquarello: penna con inchiostro nero; pennello con colore seppia. Timbro di collezione Tito Miotti, Lugt 4259. Buono stato di conservazione. Il pittore fiorentino, che in giovane età era stato allievo di Carlo Cignani, esprime qui al meglio la sua tecnica pittorica, fatta di tocchi rapidi e macchie di colore. I due studi riguardano due giovani donne, che indossano vesti di foggia antica con ampi drappeggi e che assumono una postura piuttosto solenne, con notevole effetto drammatico.Provenienza: Timbro di collezione Tito Miotti, Lugt 4259.

Collection stamp Tito Miotti, Lugt 4259. Good condition. The Florentine painter, who at a young age had been a pupil of Carlo Cignani, here best expresses his pictorial technique, made up of quick touches and splashes of color. The two studies concern two young women, who wear ancient-style robes with ample draperies and who assume a rather solemn posture, with a notable dramatic effect.Provenance: Tito Miotti collection stamp, Lugt 4259
