Un vasto paesaggio con un fiume e il ponte percorso da numerosi personaggi.Hasegawa Settan, 1778–1843, vissuto durante il tardo periodo Edo, nato a Edo, in origine era uno scultore del legno e ha scolpito i blocchi di legno per molte stampe ukiyo-e. Creò le xilografie per l’opera Edo meisho zue, un catalogo illustrato delle attrazioni di Edo e dei suoi dintorni. Per i suoi successi artistici, Hasegawa Settan è stato insignito del titolo buddista onorario Hokkyō, “Ponte del Dharma".H. Rare print depicting a town near Edo, today's Tokyo. A vast landscape with a river and a bridge crossed by numerous characters.Hasegawa Settan, 1778–1843, lived during the late Edo period, born in Edo, was originally a wood carver and carved the wooden blocks for many ukiyo-e prints. He created the woodcuts for the work Edo meisho zue, an illustrated catalog of the attractions of Edo and its surroundings. For his artistic achievements, Hasegawa Settan was awarded the honorary Buddhist title Hokkyō, "Bridge of the Dharma".H.
