Impressione molto buona con effetti di goffratura (naso e colletto). Rifilata, tracce d’uso e foxing. Una oiran, cortigiana di alto rango, si trova su un portico che si affaccia sul cortile innevato di una ricca casa di piacere. Notevole il motivo della carpa che salta sul soprabito. Bijin-ga (?dipinti di belle donne?) è un termine generico che indica immagini di belle donne (bijin) nell'arte giapponese, specie nella xilografia del genere ukiyo-e. Kunisada, conosciuto anche come Utagawa Toyokuni III, Edo, 1786 –1865, è stato uno dei più famosi disegnatori di stampe su blocchi di legno Ukiyo-e del Giappone del XIX secolo. è stato a capo di una delle più importanti scuole di stampa xilografica giapponese, la Scuola Utagawa. La firma "Kōchōrō Toyokuni ga", compare in almeno un terzo delle stampe degli anni ’50.

Jumping carp motif on the warm overgarment.Bijin-ga (beautiful person picture) is a generic term for pictures of beautiful women (bijin) in Japanese art, especially in woodblock printing of the ukiyo-e genre.Utagawa Kunisada, also known as Utagawa Toyokuni III, Edo, 1786–1865, was one of the most famous Ukiyo-e woodblock print designers of 19th century Japan. He was the head of one of the most important Japanese woodblock printing schools, the Utagawa School. At least one third of the prints from the 1850s signed "Kōchōrō Toyokuni ga.
