拍品描述 翻译

Oban tate-e from the kabuki play "Katakiuchi Noriai-Banishi", collection of revenge stories, performed on the 5th month of 1794 at Kiriza theater. Okubi-e of the actor Ichikawa Komazo II as Shiga Daishichi. On a grey micaceous background. Signed Toshusai Sharaku ga, kiwame censor stamp, editor Tsutaya Jozaburo. In the upper left corner, the probable inscription Matsumoto Komazo II. At the bottom left, an illegible collector's stamp. (Lined, stains). 37 x 24,5 cm Ichikawa Komazo II began his career at the Nakamuraza theater of Edo under the name of Ichikawa Sumizo I, which he received in 1770. He then changed his stage name in 1772 for Ichikawa Komazo II during the performance of the play "Oyoroi Obido Shinozuka". Then he took the name of Matsumoto Koshiro V during a ceremony at the Ichimuraza theater on the 11th lunar month of 1801. On the 5th lunar month of 1794, the premiere of the play "Katakiuchi Noriai Banashi" (collection of revenge stories), written by Sakurada Jisuke I is given at the Kiriza theater of Edo. Ichikawa Komazo II played the role of the kagokaki (palanquin carrier) Hototogisu no Gorozo, in reality Shiga Daishichi, and the role of Shinoda's valet named Tsutahei. Shiga Daishichi is a dishonest governor of the region and has the main role in this play. Matsuhita Mikinoshin, a former samurai who has become a farmer in Shiroishi, discovers that Shiga Daishichi has hidden a mirror in a field that he stole from his lord. Mikinoshin, as an honest man, does not want to give the mirror back to Shiga Daishichi. The latter then kills him. The story is centered on the revenge of Mikinoshin's death by his daughters, Shinobu and Miyagino. This print probably represents the moment when Shiga Daishichi is about to kill Matsuhita Mikinoshi. His right arm is out of the sleeve and he grabs his sword.
