The Chinese porcelain brush pot having square tall body, slightly waisted sides with grooved corners, raised on flat base. The exterior hand painted in variegate tones and blend tints to create a multitude of shades and hues cobalt on a white porcelain body covered with a clear colorless glaze, depicted a continuous scene of birds on flower blossom tree. Themed calligraphy inscriptions, followed by artist signature seal, WangBu. Liberating effect of this sculpture displays the master artist's creativity, which gave a spontaneity to transform the composition into a highly suggestive vision of subject in nature. The shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares , with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the painting, and the shape. No overlap the outlines of the design, well drawn, clear and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous.
Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters.The portion of the sale will benefit a local church in Atlanta area.
