The Magnificent and Massive Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt bronze and enamel cloisonne covered censer, of globular body, waisted to widely opening, raised on four cabriole legs emerging from sea dragon masks. Two curved dragons shape handles flanked from body everted outward, give wider appearance. The domed lids surmounted with a open work shaped finial, decorated with elaborately pierced in rococo scrolling twigs.
The main body decorated with floral blooms in a ruyi shaped cartouche, surrounded by dense of colorful auspicious floral motifs and Fu-bats. All reserve against turquoise blue ground.
The composition is sophisticated and the colors are a feast for the eye.


Mark on base, incised four script -KaiShu- character, enclosed by a squared border, QianLong Reign Period.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear.
