Very Fine, extraordinary Chinese Nephrite jade of covered urn in wooden box. Expertly carved in compressed baluster shape, with round central body, raised on splayed foot, wide prominent neck with domed lid and Lingzhi fungus finial. The exterior central body decorated with relief carving of quails beneath grain abundant within landscape. Two Lingzhi sacred fungus surmounted on neck suspending the free ring. Well balanced with finely polished plain side and foot base. Preciously displayed upon open-work carved hardwood stand. The art work shows masterly craftsmanship, smooth carving, gently and finely polished. Nephrite jade displays attractive pale-celadon in color, clean even tone, beautiful translucent with moist milky appearance. A portion of this high-grade white Jade is considered quite rare. Expert workmanship is the absolute highlight of this gorgeous vase. Displayed upon a carved hardwood stand and elegantly presented inside the fitted hardwood box, with inner cushion wrapped in deep-royal-blue metallic thread silk. A golden ribbon accents banded before the inner pedestal.
