GILT BRONZE BOWLS AND JADE TRAY

The Chinese gilt bronze bowl repoussed in a deep vessel with round cavetto everted steep sides toward penta-foil flori-form lobed petal rim opening, and raised upon footed base. Each petal enclosing a dragon relief within a shaped cartouches, beneath a scrolling clouds ribbon before the banded rim. The bowl fitted unto semi-square shallow tray, with rounded corner and flat rim rising from broad wide cavetto. The central interior carved with protruding concave ring, fitted unto the bowl foot base. The jade shows celadon color with light white grayish inclusions, finely polished and displays moist milky appearance.
