Chinese Qing Dynasty, QianLong Period (1644-1911) dragon sgraffito famille jaune porcelain bowl. Delicately potted with gently rounded sides rising from a short gently tapering foot. The exterior decorated in sgraffito, carving through a surface to reveal the darker brownish lower layer of a contrasting color, before firing; depicted two vigorous five-claws dragons striding and borne amidst fumes and flames chasing the centralized flaming pearl above cresting wavy LiShui water and rocky mountain. The central interior with stylized Shou medallion enclosed within fine lines. Covered all over in a rich imperial yellow under glazed ground, while the receded central underbase remain white under glazed. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, smooth to the surfaces.
Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
