VERY FINE Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain arrow vase. Finely potted of a globular body tapered toward flat shoulder, gently everted the tall neck leading to slightly faring rim, and raised upon a splayed foot base. Two animal mask flanked on the neck. The exterior delicately decorated in hand painting with variegate tones and shades of blue underglaze depicted the vigorous imperial five-claws dragon chasing the flaming pearl. Banded by dense of multiple geometrical patterns on rim, followed by repeated tropical leave on the collar; and wavy LiShui water encircling the foot. The underglaze blue are stable with subtle shades. The Lines of the drawings are clear; the light and dark shades are subtle.
Mark on base, a six blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of great Qing.
