Each tureen is decorated with two beast-head handles, and is painted to the exterior, one with floral panels, and the other with alternating floral and precious object panels. The slightly domed covers are similarly decorated and surmounted by a knop finial. Condition: Chips to the rim and foot, frits, particularly to the finial of one cover. Some discolouration, particularly to the floral bowl, but does not appear to be restored. Traces of gilt lacquer to one handle. Fine glaze crackle around the handles.
