The teapot is decorated and gilt with a continuous scene depicting a hunt. The cover is decorated with a female immortal holding gold discs accompanied by a winged immortal in the clouds above an official flanked by courtiers and an attendant. Catalogue notes: a famille rose teapot with an identical scene was sold at Christie's New York, 16 September 2016, lot 1387. Condition: Appears to be in good condition with wear to the gilding and enamels as expected, the cover has a tiny frit to rim (approx. 0.5 mm.).
