The hexagonal snuff bottle is carved in high relief with a peony and magnolia branch and and is inscribed with an excerpt from a Qianlong poem 'Green pines and peony' (cangsong mudan) with two seals reading 'Qian' and 'long'. With an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark to the base. With a metal and coral stopper, bone spoon. Condition: Appears to be in a good condition with small chips to the edges and light surface wear. Please note: the stopper of this lot contains coral and is therefore subject to the relevant trade restrictions in correspondence with CITES regulations.
