8-17th/18th Century Chinese Lacquer Items with fine Lac Burgaute Shell Inlay; including a small bowl, a plate with 6 panels of small flowers, a wine cup, a 5 lobed wine or tea cup lined in silver without shell inlay but with miniature lacquer painting, an ingot shaped teacup lined in silver, a peach shaped cup lined in silver and a pair of square wine cups or tea cups. Normal wear to all, the inside of bowl re-painted and with hairline cracks, the small round plate and the small cup with light age related wear, the peach cup and ingot cup with chips to lacquer at base, the 5 lobed cup with light wear to miniature lacquer painting, the pair of square cups missing tiny pieces of shell inlay and a crack to the lacquer around the base and one silver base missing. Diameter of larger bowl 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm.). Width of plate 4 3/4 inches (12.1 cm.). Provenance: The Collection of Suzanne H. Foster with her printed round labels to two with inventory numbers.
