19th/20th century Including white metal and inlaid gau; three Mandarin hat finials; gilt inlaid fittings, hardstone inlaid pendants, a faux-malachite box and small deity figurines. The box: 12.3cm (4 7/8in) wide (qty).
Provenance: Acquired by William Pyt Bennett who served with RGA 7th Mountain Battery during the Younghusband Expedition to Tibet in 1903/4, and thence by descent.
