Two fine 18th/19th C Chinese Lac Burgaute (Gold, Silver & Mother-of-Pearl inlaid into Black Lacquer) Snuff Bottles apparently with their original tops; the first with two panels of intricate landscapes utilizing the color changes of the shell inlay and with a rare calligraphy mark to base; the second, a flattened oval bottle with a tiny overall brocade pattern with two round windows with flowers. The first with two or three tiny silver or gold inlays missing; the second lightly sprayed with protective clear varnish. Height of first with top 2 3/4 inches (7.1 cm).
