Ming Dynasty Chinese porcelain plate finely potted in shallow vessel form, with broad wide central interior, rounded cavetto gently tapering to open wide flori-form rim. The central medallion reversed painted in violet-blue even tone with vigorous dragon borne amidst flames and clouds. The broad everted mouth rim all reserved in cobalt-blue underglazed, leaving the outer rim in plain white underglaze. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the drawing, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well drew, clear, subtle, and distinct. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The base remain unglazed, revealed the spiral marks with creme-orange ground and dark brown-grayish firing spots marks.
