The vase potted in shape of a phoenix tail, Chinese porcelain traditional yen yen shape. The beaker having baluster shaped body, with bulging belly, trumpet-shaped neck. The immaculate porcelain body all covered with a characteristic silky glaze, pooling on the base in purplish-blue underglaze, with the outer rim left plain white underglazed. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The design is luxurious, yet simple elegant. The purplish-blue color is extraordinary, a feast to the eyes.
Mark on base, six underglazed blue script -KaiShu- characters, enclosed within double fine rings, KangXi Reign Period of Great Qing.
