Description: A Korean incised celadon "Phoenix" bowl
goryeo dynasty, 12th century
The interior of the rounded bowl on short circular foot, finely-incised with two phoenix (or long-tailed parrots) in flight, among scrolling clouds, the well with stylized buds, a soft grey-green glaze overall, with a fine craquelure, traces of approximately six spur marks to foot ring.
