Description: A Korean mother of pearl, tortoiseshell and wire-inlaid rectangular box and cover
joseon dynasty, 17th/18th century
The cover with slightly beveled edges, the top and sides inlaid with lotus scrolls, florets and foliage, circle and cloud diaper borders, the interior with remnants of paper-backed red patterned silk lining.
