Set of Chinese celadon jade carved Guanyin & gilt bronze cloisonne inlaid carved Zitan Buddha temple house. A carved Chinese white Jade in form of a standing Bodhisattvas Buddha Guanyin figure, with serene face, closing eyes, and elongated ears beneath the ushnisha. The jade displays smooth and beautiful clean pale celadon even tone, moist milky appearance all over surfaces. Highly valued Chinese Zitan wood carved unto a squared Buddha temple house, with opening to the front, surrounded by four cylindrical straight pillars and gilt bronze cloisonne inlaid gallery rails. The entire Buddha house is decorated in reliefs of scrolling rococo foliate and many auspicious symbols. The Buddha headrest shaped roof decorated vividly with colorful enamel of floral and its tendril foliage supporting the domed top with knotted ribbon Buddhist emblem finial. The pair of front column painted in gilt. Red silk wrapped the opening interior, enclosed with open-works carved spandrels flanked on the opening windows. The Zitan wood displays a smooth lustrous dense hardwood with dark purple-brown patina and feathery fine grain.
