Chinese Jade and Colorful Semi-precious stones inlaid ruyi scepter. The wish-granting scepter open-carved of naturalistically modeled as an arched multiple branching Lingzi fungus and the handle design forming natural branching shape in detail. With larger fungus carved from spinach-green jade rested on the head of the scepter; followed by numerous colorful smaller fungus emerged from the over-lapping branching stem in various semi-precious stones. The Jade shows clean even tones, finely polished with pale-celadon iridescent and moist and milky appearance. Characterized with the decoration of semi-precious stones inlaid including turquoise, amber, jade, agate, lapis-lazuli, and other semi-precious stones created a colorful array along the branching scepter. The jade ruyi scepter adorned with deep-red tassels. Lingzhi is known as the fungus of immortality and is considered by Daoist mystics to be nourishment for immortals (Xian). Lingzhi is also a symbol of longevity. It's believed that Lingzhi grows in the dwelling of the Immortals and that whoever consumed the hallowed fungus achieved divinity.
