A Chinese Qing Dynasty GE type glazed porcelain bile bottle vase. The immaculate bulbous celestial vase porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze with various striations throughout the finish. Cylindrical body tapering slightly towards the receded flat base rises naturally into a stout neck, eventually outward at the flared opening. Distinctive Ge crackled glaze also known as jinsitiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of the lines that appear in the crackled surface. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The glaze terminates just before the end of the base revealing a dark charred clay. Measurements: Height: 8 1/2" Diameter: 4 3/8"
