Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong red dragon over blue and white wrapped floral porcelain Zun vase. Curvy feminine body rises naturally into a waisted neck, eventually leading outward at the wide opening, raised upon a splayed concave foot base. The exterior is delicately decorated with hand painted red dragons against white ground with indigo blue variety of flowers and vines ensconce a large portion of the surface area. Phoenix feather pattern wraps around the foot above double fine blue ring. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman. The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed smooth pale-creme unglazed ground foot rim and dark-grayish firing marks, with the slightly receded central base remain white under glaze.
The underside bear a reign mark, a six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty. Measurements: Height: 13 1/4" Diameter: 7 1/4"
