Chinese Qing Dynasty Wucai porcelain pear bottle vase. The pear-shaped bottle vase, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to the slender-waisted neck, flaring at the rim, supported on short spreading foot ring. The exterior is delicately decorated in Wucai design with a bird amidst gnarled branches bearing vibrant ruby-red floral blooms and rock works within landscape scene. The underside foot rim shows unglazed burnt pale-creme ground in the firing, enclosing the clean white underglaze receded central base. The whole piece elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand.
