Chinese Qing Dynasty Jiaqing porcelain bowl. Simply gently rounded side emerging steeply to the everted flat rim, raised on the concave footed ring base. The exterior hand-painted in Famille rose design, with ripe pomegranates abundant in pink-rose color, and fresh green foliage, all against the clean white underglaze ground. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
The under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze red seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Jiaqing Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty. Measurements: Height: 2 1/2" Diameter: 5 3/4"
