Chinese Qing Dynasty gilt outlines over douqing glazed porcelain Zun vase. A celestial shaped vase, globular body, cylinder tapered neck forming a flared opening, and a slightly concave foot base. The center exterior is adorned with a front facing domineering serpentine Dragon with a Ru-Yi motif in the forehead that intertwined with the circularis and twisted lines enacted the node shape surrounded the surface of vase. all reserved in fine gilt outlines over attractive egg-shell blue glazed ground. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finish is meticulous.
The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed smooth pale-creme unglazed ground foot rim and dark-grayish firing marks, with the slightly receded central base remain white under glaze. The underside bear a reign mark, a six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
