Pair of Chinese Qing Famille-rose peony flori-form rim porcelain bowls. Shallow curvature flaring upward to form the floral rim, and a slightly raised footing. The rim and surface carved into a curvaceous floral lobed pattern. The exterior rich decorated in famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in famille rose on a pure white ground decoration, of peonies blooms and foliate. The drawing was superb contrasting the white background. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman.
The under base bear a reign mark, a six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.Measurements: Height (each): 3 3/8" Diameter (each): 6"
