Chinese Qing Dynasty carved porcelain lidded round box. Stoutly potted unto a flattened round box, with broad wide cavetto, and correspondence dome lid. The top surface decorated with centralized gilt longevity Shou character surrounded variegate flowering blooms, the lower body with array of flower bouquets, geometric and archaic pattern, bordered with a band of key-fret pattern on both rims. All reserved in the pale copper-red underglaze ground. Gilt overglazed ring banded in the foot, center, upper mouth, rim dome, mid and upper dome. The underside covered in ebony glazed. The glaze is immaculate showing a smooth sheen and refined artistry.
Mark on receded central base, a four gilt over glaze seal script characters. Measurements: Height: 2 5/8" Diameter: 4 3/8"
