Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng blue and white glazed fruit abundant double gourd vase. Potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two carved bulbous belly conjoined together, suspending a tall cylindrical neck, bulbous lower section converging into a pear-shape midsection and finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, gently rounded to narrow opening. The bottom forms a substantial ring-base with a flat offset face. Hand painting in a clean white base color and the exterior decorated with fruits abundant and foliage on the upper and lower belly. banded with auspicious motif ribbons on the waist and upper mouth rim. The exterior is uniformly coated in a beautiful blue-white glaze that shows an even thickness throughout. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman.
