The censer is modelled with a pierced cover decorated as a swirling mountain. It stands on a goblet base supported by a single column on a circular dish.
Catalogue notes: a similar example can be found in the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco from the Avery Brundage Collection, no. B64P38.a-.b, a bronze version of the current lot was sold at Christie's New York, 19-20 September 2013, lot 1495.
Condition: the cover is associated; chips to the rim of the base (approx. 1.5 cm.); oxidization to the glaze.
