The two rectangular fillets with pierced bodies, engraved with foliate decoration, one with an engraved thumb piece. The silver shaped handle with an ivory rounded termination.

Jacob van Wijk Jr. was a silversmith from Amsterdam, he was born in 1816 and in 1846 he took over the firm of his father Jacob can Wijk Sr (1785 – 1846). He was a supplier to the retailer A Bonebakker & Son, Amsterdam.
