Finely potted in a shallow vessel, with narrow cavetto rising a steep rounded sides, supported upon a narrow footed base. The rim is bound in silver enclosing the interior decoration of lotus bloom and foliate, suspending the radiating lines toward the outer rim. Covered overall in a pale creme under glazed. Small firing flaw in bottom of bowl as made. Probably from Song Dynasty Period.
