這塊碧璽墜牌尺寸為典型的清代四六牌尺寸，即長六寬四。上面懸掛了一顆漢代蜻蜓琉璃珠和西周晚期的瑪瑙珠，這個搭配是經典的滿洲貴族腰間的掛飾，寓意為吉祥平安的意思。這個碧璽十分純潔，雕刻了五隻老鼠和元寶以及其他吉祥紋飾，意為五鼠送財。碧璽因為在清代晚期，光緒30年到35年間，受西太后的青睞而價值不斷攀升。根據相關文獻記載，一些王公大臣為了投西太后所好，競相收購碧璽，市場上，一兩碧璽的價格最高時竟是黃金的兩倍。 5.5*3.5 公分 The size of this tourmaline pendant is of a typical size of a “four-six” style in Qing dynasty, which is six inches long and four inches wide. The pendant is suspended with a Han Dynasty dragonfly-eyed glass bead and an agate bead from late Western Zhou Dynasty. This collocation represents a classic style of ornaments that the Manchurian aristocratic usually hung on their waist. It implies a meaning of good fortune and peace. This tourmaline pendant is of a transparent hue and has carved with five rats clambering around a large ingot among other auspicious ornaments, revealing the implied meaning that the five rats will bring in money. In the late Qing Dynasty, Tourmaline's value rose steadily due to the fact that the Empress Cixi was a big fan of it. According to the relevant literature, some of the ministers and princes competed with each other for the acquisition of the tourmaline in order to present to the Empress and please her.
