Heavy silver snuff bottle with fine and intricate detailing of four-claw dragons on each side.An ovoid body cast from silver that has a screw-in matching top with spoon. The workmanship on the design is expert and very fine. There is tiny bead work on the lid, neck, and around the dragons. The dragons and cloud design is deep and well rounded. There are foo lion handles on the shoulder with good detailing on the facial features including the teeth. The bottle has a nice heavy weight and smooth feel. It has shined up very well. It comes with a fitted wood stand.The silver snuff bottle is silver. We had it tested and there are 63.9 grams of silver.MEASUREMENTS 3a€ (7.6 cm) tall x 2a€ (5.1 cm) wide x 5/16a€ (o.8 cm) thick. Weighs 2.3 oz (65 g)CONDITION The only damage are scratches on the base made to assay the silver.An artistic well executed work of miniature art that will be a great addition to your snuff bottle collection.
