An incredibly detailed hand painted porcelain serving pitcher with tiny works of art on each side. The features on the figure and dragon are minute. The landscape panel is by a true artist. A tour de force of the paintera€?s art.A porcelain rectangular bodied bottle with round handle and tall neck that ends with a fine small spout. The porcelain has been painted in over glaze enamels. The two body panels are painted like flat art. One panel shows a fishing village and the other panel shows a deity in the clouds surrounded by a dragon. The colors and line quality are very expertly applied. The rest of the bottle is decorated with iron red and gilding in patterns of key fret, octopus tendrils and moths. The base is flat and not glazed. There are no marks or labels. Ita€?s a pity that the artist didna€?t sign his work, as the painting is incredible.MEASUREMENTS 5 ??a€ (14.7 cm) tall x 4a€ (10.2 cm) long x 1 7/8a€ (4.8 cm) wide.
