The base glaze has a slight blue tint to it. The cobalt used is a nice deep black blue. The design is of shrimp in water weeds with a double happy wedding character in the central well.The foot is rounded and unglazed. The base is glazed. There is a small label on the base that reads 2012.91.29. The dish belonged to the Portland Art Museum in Portland Oregon and was deaccessioned and this is its inventory number. There are no cracks or breaks and the plate rings like a bell. There are kiln flaws such as black spots, pimples, and reserves.
