There is a repeating border above the central well of lappets in red. The edges of the dishes are lobed with an iron red edge rim.The porcelain is very white and the glaze is thin, soft, smooth, and refined. The glaze looks glossy. The decorations are painted in red, yellow, green, blue, and eggplant over glaze enamels, with black used to outline and accent. The back is decorated with fine lines around the foot ring using cobalt under glaze. The foot ring is elevated with a very smooth and soft unglazed foot. The clay used must have been extremely fine.
