A small heavy bronze chop in the shape of a foo lion with hand tooling. The chop is in the archaic Zhuanshu script. The chop has a golden natural patina.A square base in bronze has had a figure in bronze of a foo lion attached. It is very heavy for its size. You can see a more silver metal at the back base of the lion; the two pieces must have been soldered together. The lion was hand tooled and has sharp squared chisel like cuttings. There are small details like stars in the collar of the lion and fine hair lines on his mane and tassels.There is a tooled mark on the back base that reads ADE IN CHINA. It is an old mark.
