Lovely, tiny intricate painting - a true miniature in every way.A tiny four-sided porcelain box decorated by hand with flowers. The lid is a thin slab of porcelain and is painted with an immortal riding a chi lin. The piece is painted with brilliant red, green, orange, purple and gold over glaze enamels and outlined in black enamel. The lid is painted with brilliant gold enamel. The edge of the lid is also painted in gold. The lid has a flanged edge that fits the base. The tiny blue and clear glass spoon is likely a modern replacement. The inside of the mouth and the lid flange are unglazed. There are four small sager marks on the base. There are no porcelain marks or labels. Please note that we have 5 additional salt containers available that nearly match this one, although some have a different spoon. If you are interested in purchasing more than one salt, please let us know. We would offer a discount for purchasing more than one.MEASUREMENTS Box is 1a€ (2.5 cm) wide x 1a€ (2.5 cm) deep x ??a€ (1.9 cm) tall.
