Description: Wood, lacquer, painting. Burma, first half to mid-20th century
A very naturalistic, large sculpture of a hunter with his dog and his prey. His black hair is tied in a bun with a ribbon. He is unshaven and wearing only a pair of short trousers. He is carrying a quiver with arrows and holding the slain animals in his hands. The painting shows some tattoos – black lizards on his upper arms and mystical diagrams on his chest. The man is standing on a round base, his dog is begging.

Condition: Some signs of age, especially around the base
